Hello there. I’m Marissa.

New mom, Notes app enthusiast, frequent flyer, contemplative in action
Enneagram 3w4
I share my time between Los Angeles and Boston, which is not good for the planet, but fun for party introductions. I was raised in New York’s Hudson Valley before it became a brunch destination.

This little corner of the internet

features half-baked musings on millennial life, new motherhood, spirituality, what I’m reading, wearing, thinking, and feeling, and the gaffes and graces I encounter between Los Angeles and Boston. Come for personal reflections, embodied beholding, and reading/shopping/bucket lists. Stay for poetry, vanity, sacred noticing, shrill rage.

My reflections are personal, vulnerable, and authentic to my own experience. Some may find them triggering, difficult, unrelatable, or downright obnoxious. I am all of those things everyday! I am also honest and open to growth: my comments are disabled as I refine my voice and find my footing here, but my DMs are open. Views expressed here are my own and do not reflect those of my employer or Channing Tatum.
